New prop

My oldest son bought me a used prop on e-bay!
14.5x22 4 blade Mach Sterndriver

Of course he tried it out today and I am in Denver

no gps yet, but here are the figures I have

5.7 v8; Alpha 1.5; 5700 rpm when he backed out of it:banana:

The old prop was a 20 and would only get 5300 rpm(might have hit the ramp once or twice)

The Mach line of props were one of the 'favorites' for the Checkmate hulls....Can't wait to hear performance numbers with GPS!! :thumb:

Son says boat rides higher with a smaller wake and handles rough water better than before.
If slip is @7%, prop calculator shows 73mph

I have a 18 Pitch Mach 4 blade from my old J-Craft ski boat, what an animal of a prop. Its too small for the Starflight but when I want serious stump pulling power I throw it on, just have to watch the tach.
