New to the forum, just picked up an 86 Enforcer...

I recently sold my 28 Pantera because of the economy sucking and running outta money, and I think I found a good value in my Enforcer, now called Bad Bishop. Tomorrow, my partner and I are starting our 3000w stereo install after detailing the boat, and we think she's going to stand pretty tall. The boat currently has a 330hp 454/alpha combo that we're probably going to ditch next spring, since you can't have a blower hatch without a blower. ;)

I've been on OSO for awhile and now SeriousOffshore more, so you may know me...

I like posting pics of girls on my boat (tasteful ones, anyway.) So get ready. :thumb: Looking forward to learning more about these Checkmates too. Hopefully this is the best $2600 I've ever spent. :)

K, dude. $2800.00. Think about it. A BLower hatch with an Alpha? Come on... You wouldn't wanna be caught dead in that ride, Pantera Boy!

Seriously though. Nice find and welcome to our little world here. Sure looks like a nice find to me. Got any more pics?? I just got finished with a measly little 1000W 5 channel install in my 'ole Exciter myself.

Below that hatch used to sit a 468 with a 10-71 good for 90+, or so the guy I bought it from says...

I'll post more pics tomorrow when we're done cleaning it up.
 
very well brought! thats really cheap! i just looked at a 87. rotten bad and guy wouldnt bidge to much under 5k. what drive is on there? the alpha 1? he had a 468 blower motor on that? how much hp do they handle?
 
I would think it has a Bravo- I don't think Checkmate ever sold anything above 21' with an Alpha. Hopefully it does have a Bravo so you don't have to continually worry about blowing up the outdrive.
 
Hey new guy i'm new to finally someone with the same boat as me !!!! mine is an 87 enforcer same engine package paid $5000 for with a blown motor ! dropped in 500h.r 454 to get on water! as soon as i figure how to post pics i will. 200h.rs in custom paint brand new interior i scored. I'm curently running a 21 mirage 64mph non gps at5100rpm with wife and 2 kids! Scared to hold it there to long!!!! So i'm looking to do the same as you! Maybe we can figure this out together. Or anybody else out there that has any input i'm open for suggestions!!!!!! By the way how do you post pictures????

Got a lot accomplished for the boat yesterday:

Got all new safety gear, anchor line, fenders, head unit, custom italicized BAD BISHOP decal for the stern that matches the font and black on white color of the Checkmate decal on the side of the boat, Powerwashed whole boat in, out, and bilge, washed cabin velour, got new foam to replace all the moldy garbage that was in there (damn foam is expensive!!!!) sea foamed the oil, gas, and carbureator.

Looks 10x better, and it hasn't even been buffed yet, that's happening monday.

Phew. :D
