newb with enforcer

Bigdaddydupree

New member
New to the boating scene period but just picked up a checkmate enforcer with 454 mag. its an 87 model. Ive always had friends with boats and finally bought my own. This is a huge learning curve because ive been in drag racing for a few years, i have a 89 s10 stock suspension with a lil LS motor and some gas on drag radials. My daily Driver is a 02 powerstroke and i work at a chevy dealership in parts. From Moncks Corner SC

Its great to be here

Welcome to the forum Bigdaddydupree.

There are a lot of great boat experts and more importantly CheckMate boat experts on this forum --I'm kinda a newbe my self to this forum and the CheckMate world so I probably won't be much help specifically to the brand CheckMate, however I've been boating most of my life up here in NewEngland {that's a lot of years I'm afraid}.

I will say this much about CheckMate, I myself have a 22ft Vision that I absolutly am loving -- very fast / very good performer / and it's the boat everybody admires when I'm cruizin around.

Ahhh, your into drag racing --- I have had a couple of drag cars myself / my dad was by profession a drag driver / builder / owner back in the 50's 60's and 70's -- he was also one of the original owners of NewEngland Dragway in NewHampshire.
He ran prostock / gasser / top fuel / super mod / and funnycar.
Your forum name is interesting -- maybe a spin off of BigDaddy Don G.

Anyway welcome to the greatest boat forum on the net....

A quick word of advice ---- we are all picture sluts here -- so get us a pic of your Enforcer as quick as you can.

Before you even ask, the best way to post a pic here is to open an account with photobucket.com -- upload your pics to their web site, then copy the IMG code of that particular pic and paste it into a thread here in the forum.
Or you can inquire with the forum moderator how to become a "supporting member" and then you can cut and paste directly from your PC to the forum.

You definately picked a heck of a boat to be your first one --- your gonna love it, -- just give your Checkmate respect and take good care of it and it will take good care of you.

Again, welcome and show us the pics.

Trey(Caddman) that posts on here lives in Mt.Pleasant. He's got trimate III, we often meet at the lake Moultrie on the weekends. Nice to see another Checkmate in the area. We'll have to get together sometime soon. Btw I have a Enforcer as well, the OB version.
