Hey, I have an idea for a Checkmate owners rally, Lets all meet at a big lake and run our boats from one end to the other and back, see the sights, let the locals see what a Checkmate looks like when it's passing you! I had fun at LC, but I bought a boat to RIDE! I can go to the local bar, get in for free, set and watch all the other cars drive by, and then go home and sleep in my own bed and not cost more than $3 in gas. Let's have a rally where we can really show off our Checkmates! boatman
 
I think we would have done a lot more running last year if it wasn't for the breaking issues. This year we will do some more running Gary whats going on with your boat, are you going to be boatless in 2011?
 
I am hoping to just be boatless for the winter. If all goes as planned, I should be back on the water by april or may. boatman
 
Boatman,sorry we didn't get to run more.When we left Harmon Creek to go run all hell broke looose.It was after midnight before we got everybody back on the trailer.Next year hopefully we can have better luck.
