Persuader WOT question

New member
I have a 93 219 persuader with a 454. At WOT I begin to over heat rather quickly. I have a 160 thermostat that I just put in. It is running about 4500 rpm and 60ish mph. I have the timing set at 8 degrees. It will run up near 200 unless I back off. Any suggestions?
