Very, very nice! I see you made the bow area even bigger than a Starliner. I like what you did with the bow walk-thru. It has a cleaner look than even a factory original.

Sorry,I must learn to work with Imageshack
The starflite with the johnson is my boat in 2003.

Checki, I need to hire you to come out to NC and cut open my bow. What a great job! That boat looks better than some pulsares. Do you have any pics of the job in progress?

Where do you find used Checkmates in Germany? Are there some around or do you have to find them and ship them from the US?

High
I have to be found the Enticer and the Playmate at
the german second-hand market. Checkmate are rare boats here.
The Starflite came on a trailer by ship, from Jacksonville.

Love it, and until I realized he was in Germany I was woondering why you didn't just buy the Starliner. Awesome boat, love the color!

I have my eye on a Convincor project and I want to open the bow on an old school Convincor like your Starflite. Gives me some motivation :-)

Did you cut the windshield or make a new one? I want to make a low windshield for my Starliner since I can't find one. I hate the high windshield.

Again, NICE BOAT!

Hallo Mooneys
A lot of questions. I hope my english is not to bad.
I have search a Starflite or Starliner for three years. This Starflite in 2003 was the first good deal. She came with out motor.
A 4-stroke is better for my area. We have a lot of small lakes here and the most of time you must drive slowly. The gas-price here (1 gal = over 5 US Dollar) is very expensive. I run 100 hours with the Honda in 2005 and put 150 gal gas in the tank!!!
I cut the windshield in the middle and take a standart alu-U for the right- and the left side.
You can cut your windshield to,but you must change the glass and the alu-U top frame. The old alu-U parts are to short.
The Convincor-project is a dream for me. A long open bow and a small porta potti-room for the woman on the left side.

Thanks for all your compliments
