pics of how i lifted my boat

so today i towed the boat up to my work. i needed to use the hoist in order to change the bunks and spray the trailer. i figured i could just wheel it in and fit the arms of the hoist under the hull and lift. NOPE. the trailer is too wide. after turning three shades of red i had to pull a couple tow straps off the shelf and improvise.

the old bunks were so rotted they were only held on by the boat itself. i replaced those and hit the whole thing up with a wire wheel on my grinder. we took off all the scale and loose stuff. i sprayed it with some cans of spray bedliner material. it put a nice textured finish over the whole trailer. i figured paint would look like garbage due to the cancer. i only had about three hours into the whole thing.

For some reason it didnt look as odd in person as it does in these pictures. How about some before and after pics of the trailer, made it all worth it.

Lifts are handy.
