Poissible problem.

I own a 1996 242 Convincor. While gassing up with a gas can, the plastic nozzle from the gas can dropped into the tank. Any suggestions?

how big is it? there is probally no way for it to cause any damage as far as sucking it up.

there is a good chance it is stuck in the filler hose, 2 hose clamps and that is out of the boat. good luck. btw, what did you say when that happend? lol

I did the same thing a few years back....it made it to the tank and would block the screen constantly causing the engine to lose fuel pressure.

I hope it stopped at the filler hose, cuz if not you are going fishing.

That tank holds 75 gallons unless you got the optional 120 tank. I would like to see picks of your boat. I would not worry about it until it causes problems

I dont think that will be to easy in a 242 convincor. being the fill neck is close to being in front of the windsheild

Have you filled it at the pump after this? If it takes fuel as good as it did before then it's probably in the tank. I would run it till it cause a problem.
