porpising

Are you beer bouncing with foam with trim all the way down:confused: around 3500 I take your word on air time. I will only let myself make me crap my draws in flight I dont need anybody else making me crap my draws:bigthumb:

Yes, beer is foaming heavily with tabs down and drive tucked...

My 253 would porpise at slow speeds with my 24 bravo I prop. it wasn't anything major and it would completely go away with the drive tucked all of the way in. I just tend not to go that slow and cruise between 45 and 65 mph. A Bravo I is a medium bow lift prop and is mostly a stern lift prop.

Same setup same exact situation I have.:)

ok guys you probablly think im crazy but my 98 251 had the same problem. and i talked to bill combs about when i got the boat 5 years ago. and he said " you need to do the old race trick." he told me to take silicone on the most outward part of the farthest chime at the transon(3 inches or so) and make a 1/4 inche wedge ( or hook ) in it. i did this and the boat runs straight as an arrow, and when your at high speed it doesnt hurt the speed because that part of the boat is not in the water ( atleast on my 251 it isnt ). sounds crazy but it is all true. my buddy has a 259 that purposes and we are going to try this on his. if i read this right i dont know if a 7.4 liter in a 253 will turn a 24 pitch. my other buddies have 253's with 502's in them and they run 24 pitch. just my .02 cents

if you dont want beer bounce with foam.

The water has to be slick for me to hit the trim without beer bounce under 3500.

Holly crap I was under the influence of some alcoholic beverages last night.aBooze1.gif
