Powerboat article on zt244

did i miss the announcement on the article, usually its on the press release or front page of the forums......didnt see it!!

anyway, simple but good writeup on the zt244, they used the blue one for testing i guess.

one thing i thought was funny: "The Baja influence definately showed in the zt244's sleek, soft-angled lines."

this is not to start firing up any debate, it just surprised me that it didnt show up here...maybe to avoid any negative posts?? i dont know??
as far as the "baja influence" quote above, i wonder if the writer has ever seen the h2x to realize the hull design?

anyway check it out, Checkmate is getting some long needed press!! it should start building more and more brand awareness and hopefully sell more boats than ever!

 Maybe it was not posted here because its not a real Checkmate its a cloned baja thats has been in production for many years.:sssh:

Hey at least it got a page worth of article, split into two pages by advertizing. Still its another article in a growing list of articles in magazines. Like the one for the OBX, the 300 with the Mercury Racing motor in it, the one on the 2100(like last month, same mag, thats cool) and now this boat.

Thats what everyone wanted to see was Checkmates in print right, well if you don't have the cash to get them into the adds, then you work to get them into the articles.

just got my mag today, looks good, editor likes the boat and isn't too hard on it like the past reviews. Call it a baja if you want too it's still and excellent boat.
