Very cool

I'm sure the haters are going to hate, but that thing looks sweet. Love the sleek look and the deep vee of the hull. Not sure what to think of the scoops. Hard to clean? Overall a great looking hull. Would like to see pics of a finished interior and cabin. The 2400BRX interior improvements were awesome, I hope these follow that vein.

Nice boat Checkmate! Keep pushing the envelop!

Well said Sam. I like it as well but I am sure some will bitch about Doug and baja even tho its all new and all checkmate. I hope they sell like the 2000BRX is selling!

Not sure on the scoops and windshield will have to wait for the finished product to be certain. All and all thats a nice looking vessel.

Looks mean. I like mean.

I had scoops/vents on my Scarab. No big deal at all.

Are dark windows 'the look' on this puppy? I like them, too.

Ya know, if you look at some stealthy military watercraft, this new barge is in the spirit of that style in some ways.

I am happy that Checkmate Marine is progressive and traditional at the same time.

Kudos.

You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time

For me, I really like it...it has nice lines. I look forward to seeing the finished product!

that windshield just isnt right:sick: its a good thing my next/bigger boat wont be a checkmate...unless its that new 42'er:D

overall i like it. scoops look, good lines, dont like the windshield but there are very few boats with windshields i would ever own and theyre more of the canopy style

Kind makes me think back to when Ford and Dodge changed the front ends on their trucks. It was a big change and took a while to get used to, but now you couldn't think of it being the old style again.

Its a big change, a ballsy change but thats going forward and what you have to do to stay modern. I like it so far and can't wait to see the finished product.
As for the haters, Well no matter you'll always have the die hards that want to repair rotten boats, replace every piece, repaint and resticker but you better know they have a real Checkmate. Whats left of it. lol Nothing wrong with that but they can't stay stuck in time and move in the modern era also.

Looks to be all white deck, Is it gonna be custom painted or just white?
The in gel graphics is a big Checkmate part. Wouldn't think they would change that.

:poke:does that make any sense to anyone else?

Sorry if I was not clear,
I'm just saying that you and I will not be buying the 26 with our next purchase, (You want bigger, I want a 21BR or a 24BR/BRX). So it does not matter much, if we like this one.

I'm with alot of you on the windshield. But really like the the style! Have to say first look is good but have to see it up close to make a true and honest judgement:bigthumb:

It's just a plug. They haven't built the mold yet. I am sure the first one to pop out of the mold will have some color graphics of some kind.

Im not a fan of the look right now. The scoops look like a after thought add on. They dont seem to flow with the design, if that makes any sense. Cant wait to see one out of the mold. Glad to see the update. The drawings released just didnt do anything for me

The windshield is kinda wierd looking, but i don't hate it, it's looks alright. I'm sure with graphics and colors it'll look better and fit the boats over all look! I do like the scoops, they look good! I thought they had a boat almost finished and ready to be debuted? I am really looking foward to seeing the finished product!
