Pulse Seat Logos and Steering Wheel Center Cap

J.Kunz

New member
Hello, I'm new here. I just bought a 1994 Pulse 170 with an Evinrude 150. The boat is in pretty good shape, the only two things I need are replacement "decals" for the helm and passenger bucket seats, and a new center cap for the Dino steering wheel. I could reuse the steering wheel center cap if I can find just the horse head insert, and the seat logos appear to be heat applied, so I am hoping to be able to peel them off cleanly and apply some sort of iron on Checkmate logo if available. Any advice?

the logo's in the seats are stitched in and are not decals, now somebody may have done it that way, I can make them for you but no guarantee on how long they will last, although I did my vinyl spare tire couple of years ago and has held up fine..

Thanks ezstriper. The logos WERE heat applied per Kip at Checkmate, but they don't use them anymore because they were not holding up. (Obviously) Can you send me a picture and dimensions of the ones you can provide?

Thanks!

Yes rngrdve, Checkmate said they were "heat applied" and they do have kind of a neat pattern on them that makes them look like embroidery. (At least until they start to crumble from the sun)
