Rare CM Racing Hull/ 1250 BP Merc

I just saw this on ebay this morning. An early 70s era opc 17' Checkmate racing tunnel w/ an origional 1250 Super BP. This is one cool rig that is in nice shape! It's in better condition then my CM tunnel that I recentley sold. Dang......I wish I had some extra cash laying around. Someone will get a good deal due to the market today. This is a good "find".

i was just about to post this boat but SCT beat me to it...glad to see im not the only one that thought it was cool...it has to be rare...im a noob buy ive never even seen one on the internet yet..

This auction is almost $7,500.00 (reserve still not met), 16 bids and 3 days left. It will be interesting to see where this ends...... That is a nice Merc Super BP and rig!

On a side note, here is a 1973 OMC Johnson promotion featuring a 15' Checkmate tunnel with a 65 hp Singer2.

I was surprized 6 different bidders bid it up so high. I know anything is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. But realistically, what do you think something like that is worth?
