Hey all

I registered on the site back in 2006 to start gathering information Checkmate boats, well two years have passed and I think I am finally ready to get serious about purchasing a boat.

Since my registration I've gotten married (she wants a boat also) and moved from MI to NC - land of near endless summers!

Anyways I'm sure I'll be around asking questions and such :D

I beleive there is a new Checkmate dealer in your state. I used to live in Southport NC and have never seen any checkmates around. Anyways goodluck w/ your search, yuou really can't go wrong with a checkmate. you are going to love it.

If your going to buy a used C-mate you better get ready to travel you might find 1 for sale once a year in NC

I realize you're in the market for used, but if you want to drool on some new ones, travel to The Carolina Power & Sailboat Show in Raleigh:

They have a couple Pulsares on display. On the used market, have to agree with BigRed. I had been looking for sometime and ultimately traveled to Kentucky to get my Stiletto (although I did sell my Enchanter 4 years ago).
