Thanks everyone i got hooked on checks long time ago when brother owned one. found this little girl for 400 bucks with little elbow grease and some wheeling and dealing this is what she is now thanks to the guys on this sight who helped me get parts and thanks Viper1 for all if it werent for you she would probably still be in the boat shop with those idiots still working on her. The only good thing about the shop is the guy who test's the boats said it was sick scary fast. LOL guess he too used to working on Gayliners LOL Thanks again everyone. I love this sight

Been long time since i have been here. Updates on my baby! she is gone now sold to guy who also will give her good home his dad used to race boats back in the day. actually sold it for 3500$ i had alot of fun in her(wife not so much)never did get her really aired out like she should have but did love to dust off the bigger boats on the river and lakes. Now have taken on other projects but will have another check in door yard hopefully soon i am looking for larger convincor or enforcer(1st choice). Hope all is well with everyone. love teh pics and vids and thanks for all your help from this site.

Well to all thanks for all the encouragements my baby has since left my door yard and when my other projects are done i will be the proud owner of another check in the 24-25 ft range. My newest project is a special favor for a good friend of mine. he is 62yrs old and has a 1938 rude elto 1.8 as far as i can tell has not run in over 55yrs we have it cleaned up and i got it to run i will upload a video of the little bugger. I was determined she would live once again and was honored to be able to work on such an antique i did it for free for him not alot of labor involved but time cleaning and trying to remove the varnish in the tank and fuel system. I have to admit it is pretty cool. Thanks again for such a great site and i have made alot of great friends here!!!!
