just purchased this wonderful boat. Seems to be the original 115hp Mercury.
Bad parts:
floor is rotten - how do i replace?
paint is faded - is it possible to compound buff this without a new paint job?
where can i find replacement parts for her?

great board guys, thanks in advance.

The floor you will have to cut out and replace. There are several threads on this site about that.

The paint depends on how bad it is. Try wetsanding and buffing first.

Lets see some pix.

Welcome to the board. I replyed to your email. If you start with pulling up the carpet and then send me a few pictures I can help.

Welcome Taeheel. You will find many many pics of floor repair with this gang. I seems they all look kind of the same when you tear in to them. Look around see what the others have done. Ask plenty of questions, take your time and do it to last. We want to see what your working on so post plenty of pics.
