it is a 17.8 foot 1986 checkmate sport fire. it has a 4.3 omc with a cobra drive. the motor has just been rebuilt. checkmate 009.jpg (image/jpeg) 960K

hi guys i am going to keep my boat. i need a motor for it. the guy i got it from sold me a bad boat. so now i have to find a 1986 4.3 omc. can anyone help me out? thank Ron

I think you should keep it. Since you've got all that extra disposable income lying around. The boat should help you with that.

There should be lots of carb'd 4.3 marine motors on ebay.

no i just got the boat to run .and found out it was bad. i would not of sold it to a member if i knew that. im sorry if you took it like i was trying to stick it to you guys.
