rumor about sea ray in bucyrus again

i just heard a rumor that sea ray was moving back to bucyrus and it wasnt working out

coop is this true may be good for jobs in your town

anyone heard anything

I just had a dealer rep from another company and he said that they had plans on moving back it wasnt working in tenn. they used to build some of the sea rays there at baja. I just new that alot of people on this forum are from bucyrus and thought that i would bring it up

Not the rumors I heard, but I'll keep an ear out for any info on it.

It would be good for the area if they did use that building for something.

Persuaderfun, hey bud, meet me out where you took that picture tomorrow at, oh, the crack of noon.

I havent heard any rumors about Sea Ray. It would be a good thing for our town, but they currently have people laid off down there. Plus, down at Sea Rays Merrit Island plant there is a huge new building sitting empty. It has one of the biggest overhead hoists Ive ever seen. Outback there dozens and dozens of plugs and assorted molds rotting in the Florida sun. I couldnt believe how bad the sun damaged those parts, but they were just waiting to be cut up anyway. One supervisor told me it would cost well over $1 million to scrap all that stuff!
