***SOLD*** Very clean, no nonsense Pulse 170 BR for sale

Still for sale. Tried to sell the motor on eBay to no evail...actually probably a good thing. Btw all six plugs are over a year old and looked perfect...dry and light tan in color. I'm looking forward to next year with this boat but if it sells that would be great so I could pay off some debt and also shovel some in the coal fire that is my street rod project!

Went to the lake yesterday for the first run/test of the season. Everything worked perfect. The calm water,20 gal of gas, no bow cover,(and my extra winter weight) slowed me down to 62-63mph. When warm, a blip of the key starts her just like an FI motor.

got the boat on craigslist listed in Indianapolis with some more pics from the second time out. also have a video at wide open taken bmy buddy on land. not sur how or if i can post it though

bcrector where did you get the windscreen from? I had a black, red and white pulse 170 with a 200 hp EFI Mercury.

I had to build it. BTW how fast was your pulse? had to be low 80's anyway

Gps 75mph, I didn't have a bow cover and that was with a full tank. I had 6" Jackplate, spinning a 25p tempest plus. Maybe more setback and hydraulic steering would've helped as well. Jw's brother bought and then sold the boat to someone else.

Can't imagine a 170 at 75 with cable steering! Hydraulic steering was by far the best mod I did. It was down right scary with the old stuff. ...speaking of steering, on the lake yesterday my wife said that out of the corner of her eye my steering the boat at 60 looks down right ridiculous haha these short boats can be a handful in some chop.

Is this boat still for sale? i am was eyeballing it last year when you put it up, and havent been on the site in ages. with the weather warming up and me getting the lake house ready, i am itching for something like this to shoot around in. im in michigan and not too far away i dont think. if you could shoot me a message with asking price and a link to pictures i would certainly appreciate it. serious here. many thanks.

SOLD boat is going back to Michigan. The guy got one heck of a deal for $2500!!!(derigged) O well its been fun. One step closer to a Grand Sport

Congrats! Where in Michigan? Not back to SW Michigan where it spent most of it's life??

Dang, not far from me at all. Hilarious. Boat started life in Bucyrus, went to dealer in Lawton MI, bought by Battle Creek man, bought next by guy just north of Lansing, then I brought it down to kalamazoo area, then you took it out of state a little bit, now back to south west Michigan again.
Hope he knows about us?

Guy backed out of the deal 45 min into his trip to come pick up the boat. I suppose $2500 was way too much for this boat. ....all I can do is shake my head.
