anyone know of a good source for outboard parts? I have a '74 merc 1150. One place I called said they only go back to 1975 (based on serial number)

what parts do you need for your 125? I have some parts for the l-6 motors. I also have the hook-up for alot of new parts eg; pistons rings gaskets carb kits etc.. I will check on here tues. p.m. to see your response and if I can help I will give you my e-mail address.

There's a place in central lower michigan call Hillenbrands or something close to that. It's basically a big outboard motor junkyard.

the name of the place is called hildebrand salvage. they are in coldwater mi. I also have a list of other obsolete parts dealers where you can get new parts that are NLA from the factorys.

I figured you'd know the place! I've gotta get down there some day for some browsing.

thanks for the info, i needed all the seals for my lower unit. ordered from oldmercs. I think next 'll be looking for a "new" distributor cap and rotor.

I've ordered from Grubb's a few times and had good success. They operate the site oldmercs.com.

Yep, been to Hildys many times. They have alot of parts and the owner is a grin. His son runs fast outboard tunnel boats with the guys from the Indiana outboard club etc. J.W. do you run at Hardy res. or Houghton lk.? If so start a new post in other forum so we can B.S.
