STOLEN CHECKMATE 270 FOUND

FRYED

Member
The Ohio Brown County Sheriffs found our Checkmate 270BR ½ floating down the Ohio River in Higginsport, Ohio (East of Cincinnati). The boat was totally stripped but the trailer was still attached. The hull is in awesome shape and the trailer has only a few dents and dings. But everything else is gone. We got some leads and a video tape of him driving the boat off the lot. If you hear of someone with a nice new motor, let me know. I think this was a local job. Sure would like to find them.

Kent.....give me a call next week.....we may be interested in buying what's left of that thing form you or your insurance co..... Kip.

I’ll call you as soon as I find out what they want to do with it. The boat looks brand new and doesn't look like it has in the water longer than an hour or two. No mud inside, no water line, no nothing. The boat was floating bow down because the trailer was weighting it down. You guys have awesome flotation in your boats, considering the large hole in the transom where the transom plate once was.

so.....totally stripped meaning interior and steering and guages and all......??
wow!! thatd be a project!! post a price if Kip doesnt snag it up!!

Hey, Kip. What types of information and merchandise are available locally(you're in the company right)? I'm from Tiffin and Bucyrus is obviously a short trip.
