Summer vacation pics

It's true Sim, with any passengers the ZT needs trim tabs down at all speeds under 65 or it bounces around like a yo-yo, don't need them down with just me in the boat but with a little extra weight you do, and yes it's trimmed all the way down, sometimes when you slow down from a full speed run it leans to the right enough to scare who ever is in the boat, I've tried everything, trim down and throttle off slowly, cut the throttle, whatever, it's unpredictable, it will do it one time, then the next time it won't, it's like the front digs in and then it lists hard to the right, I did run it a few times in the spring before I installed the keel guard and I don't remember it doing it then, maybe that has to do with it??? everything in the drive and steering has been checked over and is good.

One of the trim tabs shorted out a few weeks ago cooked the main control panel for the tabs, needed the brain, the LED dash switch and one actuator, just ended up replacing the hole tab system to the tune of $1400.00, and another repair bill for $1000.00 right after he got it for drive related issues, thanks but I'll stick to my bow riding O/B's. I can have a lot of break downs with my boat for that much money.

Not to mention the thing needs 3 ft of water just to float, on a lake with a gradual drop off it's a major PITA.

Yeah Buddy! Tell Dad I'll give him 100 bucks (American Cash Moolah) to take that piece-ajunk off his hands.
Actually, I hear what you're saying 100 percent. My wife keeps bugging me to trade our Starliner up for a 24-26 foot i/o with a cabin (what a great wife!) but I really don't want to give up the reliability and simplicity of our outboard. She doesn't do the maintenance and towing.
