No shame in that. Been thinking about a "beater" boat myself. Something for a couple grand that I can leave in the water and not worry about shoving up on the beach.

With your family discount that should come in at under a thou leaving you plenty of money for gas..........wait, no gas necessary........make that BEER. That's people fuel.
 
Thanks but thinking something more along the lines of internal combustion powah. New interior, bow cover, and hydraulic steering for the Liner took precedence though.
