tank removal

Found out my in floor tank is leaking and needs to be pulled, 1990 vision 221 in floor tank. I am going to try it myself, I need to get a plan and start. I am guessing I need to remove my back seat, remove the carpet back and cut the floor along the stringers and then remove the tank. Also remove the fuel before I start:). Does this sound like the correct plan of action. I have not been able to find information on how to do it. Going to the boat this weekend would like to start it.

That’s exactly how I would go about it! Good luck and crossing fingers your stringers are not rotten.

Resurrecting an old thread. My 1989 vision just decided to leak fuel out...any updates on your experience? Sent ya PM as well...thanks!
