1 vote for tint.

I vote to tint it. It's not expensive and it will make a big change in appearance. If you don't like it you can always remove it.

IMO, tinting your windows dark would be too big a contrast w/ your accent stripe being white and the windshield frame being silver. I like your boat as is; it is sweet and very classic. If it were me and I just had to tint go w/ illmattic suggestion and use the reflective. It will preserve your classic look:thumb:

no tint

I've been looking at a LOT of starliner pictures lately (many of yours) - and I vote no tint as well. I'm not real into tint, my old black porsche 911 with has none and if there ever were a car that would look good tinted, that's it! So I may not be totally objective.

I like the basically stock/classic, or at least period correct look of things (cars or boats). Your liner (and my car) are beautiful classics and are classier stock. Just my personal opinion.

I love the look of tinted glass on boats, I'd black out the window trim also. I had a local tint shop do mine and they charged an arm & leg and did a crappy job. The problem was the glass is set in rubber molding and they were haveing a tuff time getting a clean cut up against the rubber. In the sun you could see bright gaps around the edges of the glass. I was so disgusted we did my buddys Starflight ourselves. We drilled the rivets and took the windshield apart (you need to take it off the boat) then tinted on the inside to the edge of the glass. No more gaps around the edges and it cost $15.00 and a few Beers. I wished I'd done mine that way and saved My self several hundred dollars.

So what have you decided to do? Tint or not? Let us know; would love to know what you end up with. In spite of my preference, it would be hard to mess up by tinting. The thought did occur to me that altering the windshield to make it a lower profile and then tinting would be real sharp; I like things that are a little understated:) good luck!

I used tinted lexan to replace all the glass in my starliner. I pulled it apart & had the frames powercoated black & used the old glass as a template for the lexan. The powercoating was $100 & made it look new again, I used over half a sheet 4x8 lexan--$150 and several tubes of black silicone. It was pretty easy & looks 100% better.

The auto zone static tint is only 10 bucks a roll and youll only need one, give that a shot 1st then see how you like it. i used it on my truck and i like it alot.
