Top speed, trimate4 140 mercruiser

Was wondering what the top speed of a trimate 4 with a stock 140mercruiser should be.(2 people fairly light load) Suggestions on props for top speed would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Derek

Not sure what the specs are on the tri mate 4, but Im guessing that it weighs over 1k lbs. With a stock prop you probably will be around 45-50mph.
If you can get the specs on the hull that will help alot.
If you get the stock engine breathing right and you add a good prop, I'm guessing that 60mph wouldnt be too unreasonable, but then again, I am an outboard guy so Im not sure my advice is valid? anone else???
