OK I got a trophy 24 to try tonite to test and it works great grabs better then the laserII and dosent shake my boat like the tempests. The only thing is i only have a 24p to try and it raised my rpm by 300 and dropped the top speed 2.5 but all around performance is better. Just a refresher 25p laserII 5900 73 gps with some slipping in turns and out of hole 25 tempest 72.5 at 5900, 23p tempest plus 6100 at 70.0 ,24p trophy 6200 at 70.5. the trophy is the best prop so far this one is a small hub with the a ring on(do they make a large hub?) Should i go for a 25 trophy or a 26 and is there a differnce between the trophy and trophy plus? Thanks alot guys. Aaron

JW, how far down do u think the 26 will take my rpms? Id like to stay near 58-5900 . Does the pitch on a 4 blade effect the rpms as much as it does on a 3 blade? A general rule of thumb on the 3blade seems to be every 1" of pitch drops ya 200rpms does that hold true on the 4 blade(theys seem to be a bit more efficiant) Thanks Aaron

that's how it usually happens. Once you get that motor back down to under 6,000 rpms you'll be back into your power band. I'd be trying a 26" Tempest Plus, Trophy Plus, and Laser II.

The 24" Trophy is a different animal than the 25 or 26 and will spin disproportionately more revs. Todd Morgan over on Bass Boat Central has written a lot about this. I think a 25" might be your ticket. I too prefer the 4 blades on your hull as well, though in my experience the Tempest has been the fastest. And as you noticed the Tempests have a bit of a shake to them at some RPMs. Its that big raked blade, it goes with the territory. You need to prop for where your spend most of you time. I spend so little at WOT by myself that the 25" Tempest A45 spends most of its time in the shed.

I just got a 26 Trophy plus last weekend that I'm trying to dial in if you want to try it give me a call.
