Trying to post pics

The pics didn't work.... can anyone explain to me in the simplest of terms how to do this? P.S. I am computer retarded.

I load my pics on Photobucket (www.photobucket.com). Then I copy and paste the "IMG" link directly into my message. Works for me. If you cant fiqure it out email me the pics and I will post them for ya. Adam@svmaaa.com

HELP!!!! I do the same thing as you Adam but l I can't get pics to post. I only get links to click on to see pics??? I feel really stupid because Chris, Coop and Gus have all told me how to do it but I really don't understand. I can't find the icon they keep telling me to click on to open the window to post pics in ???? before the change-over I had no problems, but now I seem to be lost........

The icon to insert a picture is YELLOW and has what looks like mountains and the the sun on it. That one is for everybody to use, but you Wicked, have another option use the "paperclip" and upload your pic to the site, directly from your computer. The paperclip is directly to the right of the smilie face.

i don't see any of the paperclips, moutains either... to post pics.... i also tried to click & paste ... paste will not work.... also had no issues before the change over...... kurt

Thanks Coop but I just can't locate the icons you are talking about. Just below this message window it says."You may choose an icon for your message from the following list" The 2 line list reads as follows, First line says, No icon, Post, Arrow, Lightbulb, Exclamation, Question, Cool, and the last icon on the first line is Smile. (Now to the right of smile there is nothing, it's blank, no paperclip ). Ok the second line of icons reads as follows, Angry, Unhappy, Talking, Wink, Thumbs down,Thumbs up. Now below that you have the Submit reply and Preview post optoins. The next window down is for Additional options then you have the Topic review in the last window. Now every window has a YELLOW icon in the top right corner. This icon looks like a yellow square with a circle inside of it. The circle has what looks like a mountain peak on top of it. This is the only icon that looks anything close to what I'm told to use for pic posting ? When I ckick on that icon it simply closes the window it is attached to. Do I use the Manage Attachments section for posting? I just dont understand. I hate to keep asking over and over but I have no better understanding of how this works than I did on the first day I transferred over fron the old sight.

wicked, it sounds like you're using the simple posting interface. Go into your control panel area. Click "Edit Options". Scroll down....under miscellaneous options you'll find "message interface options". Choose "enhanced interface". Now have a look for the icons. If you hover over them with your mouse, they'll give you a name.

I'm going to move this thread over to the support forum. Once you guys get this figured out you can start a new thread.

wicked....did you see the new updated walk through instructions I made? It you're still having issues, read through those. Let me know if they help. If theres anything I left out, I can always add it to them.
