V MATE II new color scheme

We sanded with 150 prior to the primer, then 180 prior to the color coat. I havn't had a whole buch of time lately to work on her, I did get the windshield and the new rubrail on. Work has kept me busy. I'm taking some vacation next week to work on her. The weather is starting to break down here and I'd like to be ready to go.. And Soon!!. I did get a bunch of my parts in, Battery switchs, led lights fuse pannel and wiring stuff. I'll shoot some pics and post the progress soon.

do you know if its bad to have higher grit? I sanded 400 grit before primer and 600 after is that bad or just over kill? im using a base clear like on a car.thanks

Spent the whole day out yesterday, cruising, swimming. I didn't realize how much I missed playing. No breakdowns, ran nice all day. Cruised with some friends, met new ones, what boating is all about. Next week she goes in for the vinal work, and the week after that the new trailer will be in. I'm going to run this old crossflow the rest of the year, I'm saving up for a merc pro xs 115, hyd steering and a jackplate.
