Wanted 77 Trimate II walk thru windshield

Cyclon

New member
I just purchased a 77 Trimate II in need of a windshield, gas tank and fuel cap. Tank needed is a 18x18x14

Hey Cyclon, I think you e-mailed me earlier today. Anyway I do have the tanks still. Where are you located? I think shipping a used tank might be a problem with the shippers, I think you'll have to pick it up.

Welcome to the forum.

Hi, outlaw wow that is great but did that year have a door on the walk thru? What where you asking for the door?

Hey Jumbo yes I did email you about the tanks my only concern if it will fit the trimate the height on yours is very close to the bottom of the well on the transome but I think it just might fit with a few alterations mainly the fuel filler neck. I am pretty sure a Trimate II tank is 18x18x14 for a 12 gal. I might get in trouble for saying this but get a box big enough for the tank borrow some purfume from you wife or girlfriend spray some purfume on the tank and inside the box seal the box and off to NC you go. Jumbo I do understand if you are not to pleased with that idea, just trying to save some cash flow on the gas to get the tank and the time. But if all else fails I will make the drive only for the love of my Checkmate.

As long as the tank has been flushed out thoroughly you shouldn't have a problem have UPS or FedEx truck freight it.
