WANTED Velocity stack for johnson

Anyone have velocity stack for 1991 johnson 200 gt or know where to get them??all i find on the web is related to mercury..

Why do you want stacks? They really don't do anything for perfomance.

Thats what Ive heard too. probably a waste of money. they just look cool.

i read somewhere a little more punch..i see that the raceboats use them,,i thought it was a cheap upgrade..

As i read somewhere before if they were half as good as most people think Mercury HI-PO would've intalled them at the factory.

i tried to run without carb cover today,,it felt like more punch,but running at mid range the engine would hesitate and drop rpm like it was starving for fuel..put cover back on and ran fine..i will be trying out 2 chopper props tommorow,,23p and 25p,,lets see what happens..

I used to think that It would be a good HP boost too but after reading 99% of people say its not.

If you feel extra punch it's probably because you wanted too, our brains will trck us if we want something to work. Put you airbox back on if your gonna run it hard.
