Was this glasstream made buy checkmate?

I dont think it looks like a Vision hull but the seats sure look comfy. The windshield looks similar though.I like the add the guys says dont call until you ask your wife ,funny stuff Thanks for sharing Kdebolt
 
Nope, was never built by Checkmate, and has nothing to do with Checkmate! We discussed this years ago as that boat used to be owned by a friend of mine (used to be the Drummer in my old band), we used to boat together on Seneca all the time!! The boat is a 87 Glastream Free Spirit, used to have a short "offshore" style wing on it and said Free Spirit on the side, but my buddy took them off when he got the boat. He thought it may have had Checkmate ties too, but like i said i posted it on here (probably 7 or 8 years ago at least) and it was a defintate no! I saw that add last night on CL, i can see where it kinda looks like a C'mate and could be confused as such, heres an old pic of the boat back on Seneca, he sold the boat quite a few years ago, didn't know where it ended up!
