"Wasted Income" 1986-2011 R.I.P.

LOL, me and Dave have known each other since high school. Being able to smile and laugh does get my mind off what has happened for sure.

Hey, if you're gonna own a boat you damn well better know how to roll with the punches. If you don't you'll either learn how to real quick or sell it.

LOL, so true! I think boating....even more so performance boating has more ball busting than any other hobby :rof:

i can't believe what i just saw!, and it's not even my boat! sorry for your loss. but on a positive, no one got hurt, your house is safe, and in time you get to new boat shop!

Brian, there is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said.

You and your loved ones are lucky to be OK.

I was a Coast Guard shipboard fire fighter and did have a major fire to put out 500 miles off the Mass coast while on patrol. You can't just walk away, you have to stop it before it is too late. It is one scary feeling.

I can't know your pain since I am not in your position.

Chin up, life will bring you many more HAPPY DAYS! All material items
can be replaced. That is why I call them TOYS..

Jim

Damn Brian!!!! I'm glad you guys are ok, which is the more important than anything else. I have to say that makes me sick to even look at the boat and knowing I'll never get see "Wasted Income" in person!:(

Brian,, really sorry to hear about you loss. Everyone on this sight will miss seeing Pictures, stories, updates, and upgrades on that one of a kind Green 'Mate! I know it even makes it tuffer when you put so much of yourself into a project like that. It becomes part of you, an extension of who you are.

But remember "Wasted Income" was not wasted income because you and your family got tons of enjoyment out of it and many fond memories! Glad you are taking pretty well. Take that break, think things over, it will all turn out good. No one got hurt. The house and property is ok. That's the good part.

And never say never again. My Dad is 78 years old, has to fake knees, a bad back, and a pace maker,,,,he is still restoring cars and going to car shows. And you'll be back in the groove too! Hang in there. Will miss seeing that boat of yours, but am glad you are all Ok!!!!!

Keep us all posted. Checkmate luv is out there for you,
Bob M. (Jet) :thumb:

i really feel like im at a funeral "so sorry for you loss" i dont want to try to imagine how youre feeling i might have to head down the marina to take a look at my fire suppression system tonight on a side note if it would make you feel better ill drag mine down and let you drive so sad i hope it all works out

Seeing those pics makes me sick. If all goes well you should be back on the water next year. Good luck.

Wow this sucks. I was really hoping to see this boat in person since you were talking about maybe coming up to Muskoka. Glad everyone is ok.
Can you run a big boat up there? If and when I get back into it, it will be a convincor. I still want to come up that way next year. If I don't have a boat, maybe if I show up and thumb:bigthumb:...... someone will feel sorry and give me a ride!!

At first when I saw the text I didn't want to believe it... the aftermath pics are way worse than I was expecting.

Thats a bad deal, Brian... sorry this happened.

Talked to the surveyor tonight. He is coming out Friday. He was very unprofessional, IMO. He had no clue about anything......brand, year, model, or that there was a fire. Adjuster forwarded the pics I sent her and he said "wait, is it that green thing Carol sent pics of?" "Oh it was a fire?" "Well I can tell what started the fire and if not, then they will hire a investigator to make sure you didn't burn it" My response was "great, I would like to know myself"

I love the a$$ holes that these insurance companies hire! I will call my agent tomorrow and have a couple words with him.

Oh yea, did not set a time.... only Friday :pissed:

I am sick to see this happen to a great boat.. Sorry this happen to you.. That aint right...Glad it didn't happen on the water....Glad to here you are safe..... Man,,, That really sucks:sick:

I see lots of big boats out there. I doubt there is a restriction. Those lakes are pretty big.

I still want to come up that way next year. If I don't have a boat, maybe if I show up and thumb:bigthumb:...... someone will feel sorry and give me a ride!!

I doubt you will have trouble finding a ride. Us Canadians are friendly eh. If I'm up there you could always ride with me, but it might be a rough ride for your back, I only have a v-mate. :bounce:
