We pulled a boat out of the woods, Don't know what it is?

We pulled this boat out of the woods. Don't really know much about it. I think it is a 1970's Switzer Craft? We need some help finding out what it is. I have never seen one like this. It looks like a California style jet boat but it is an out board. My buddy has an Avenger and a Hurst big block jet boat. He was looking for an older out board project boat but likes the jet boat lines. I think he found just what he was lookig for. The logo on the dash says SC Kauai the SC has a large V over laying the SC. i will post some pic links ASAP.

good luck on finding more on this boat. it looks like a big project. so how did you stumble upon this?

We just take rides from time to time looking for old hot boats. Found this one this morning and had it home before dark.

The man said he picked it in 1989 or 1990 with a blown motor. He had big plans to fix it up but never got around to working on it. It wasn't really as bad as it looked. The boat was only about 50 yards from his house. All the wood is totally shot but shell is in goog shape.

Thanks Busted, any information will be a big help. We are told it has a good title he just needs to locate it for us.

are the fuel tanks mounted in the sides of the hull?

this looks just like the boat the guy had who i purchased my motor from. i will try and find his number.
