My first Checkmate... A 1974 ???
Can anyone help me determine what model it is and find specs...

I had a 13 foot, GT Invader, was built to take a max of 65HP. we reworked the transome, and put a 150hp MERC on her. darn thing would jump out of the water, she was a real hand full to keep right side up, but when she ran, she would fly. I still have some 8mm movies of her on the servern river in MD, back in the 70's Was the fastest boat in the river back then.

My 1st boat was a 1968 14ft G.W. Invader it was rated for a 65hp, I had a 115 Merc on it and would run 68-70 mph that was in 1988. ~ I think you will have a fun lil boat with a 90 hp on it just take your time to learn how to run it.....
