What is a 1996 Pulsare 2100 BR with a 225 HP EFI PROMAX worth?

I am considering the purchase of a 1996 Pulsare 2100 BR with a Mercury 225 PROMAX EFI on it. The owner estimates under 120 hours of total use. The boat looks like new in the pics, and a C-Hawk trailer is included. The boat has all the gauges, AM/FM/CD stereo (CD player not working), jackplate, cockpit/bow covers, and mooring cover. The speedo pickup line has become disconnected. Owner says it should work if put back on. Inop CD and speedo is all that is (claimed to be) wrong with the boat. What is this boat worth? What is considered a good deal for this boat? All input and opinions are greatly appreciated!

Well,

before you buy have a good marine mechanic check it out.

The value of boats is pretty subjective. So it's hard to say what it's worth sight unseen. JW sold his '96 Pulsare with a 225 promax a year or so ago for around 16K (as I remember) and it was absolutely mint.

Since it's the bow-rider, if it's in PERFECT condition it's worth around $14,000 to $16,000 in my experience. Subtract for repairs needed.
