Ok I know this much it is a 79 Trimate 2 but why cant I find a picture of it in any of the brochures on this site I mine really rare. I highly doubt that. But anyways here is what I have to start with can anyone tell me what is missing from mine and could they provide pics to show me as well. P.S. I know the lower unit is missing so no jokes on that hahaha.

Looks like a Tri-Mate II that needs some love!
Go to the overhaulin section and find the "Tri-mate 2 overhaul" thread.

It looks like your missing some side pads and a back seat. Other than that it looks like, how I say anyway, somewhat unmolested.


Oh, and the driver seat is missing. But you do have a boarding ladder.

If you have the center section for the windshield, then you got something almost no one else on the board has.

It has a trim switch in the dash and one on the control handle. I love the 1400 - wish I had one. It should move along fairly well.

For any help with the motor, or if you need to find a lower unit, go to the inline newsgroup.

oh I love that dash switch it works really good and I didnt even know that there used to be another windshield section. Oh the pictures I was refering to was the color scheme my boat is not the boat it self. I am also trying to find a lower unit still I watching ebay refreshing the page about 50 times a day looking for another one I might be able to get although I do have a few auctions im waiting to see what they do.

The color scheme.........well, thats different. :bigthumb: Actually yours should look real good when its shiny.
 
Well I have thought about repainting it a blue and white but who knows i should do a poll on what people think about that.
