WHATS THAT MEAN

The Senator I had was named "BLACK THUNDER".It was mostly black with Thru hull exhaust. But one of the best boats I had was the Scarab 1 I had 12 years ago. That was named "HAMMERED".The boat was Hammered,The throttle was usually hammered,And most of the occupents were HAMMERED!

mines RISENSHINE . i get up and shine cars , for some years it was docked next to the hooter hunter , no explanation needed there ...

Bob, your obviously the guy to talk to then when it comes to waxes etc... What do you use on your boat? Do you like Race Glaze or Zaino?? Are they worth the money?

LEEDO scroll down a couple in this section (play to win) to "on new checkmates" 04-13-04 .i have bits and pieces of this subject all over this site . first off i am a little obsessive on this and whatever i find will be my opinion . with that said , i hope to pass on what i find that works for ME with the hope that you and others will be able to gain something from that. the only thing that i have found so far to buff off the whole seasons scumline after washing with whatever bottom cleaner is 3m microfinishing compound part number 06011 . it is a commercial automotive product . this product has kept the color 100% uniform on a boat that sits in the water . there is no discoloration at the waterline after using this product . i have tried most waxes ,marine and automotive , and aircraft , retail and commercial. for MY situation none stood out more than others .yesterday i bought race glaze ,and 3m marine fiberglass restorer and wax . the 3m product was recommended by my wholesaler . i want to mention that the 3m product contains carnuba wax ,the raceglaze does not. two opposing views. i also don't mind wasting 2 or 3 new buffer pads , another $25.00 $30.00 on this deal . give me a little time to try this ,and i'll pass on whatever i find.

I need to come up with a name for my boat, it's a plumb crazy purple mx-15, kinda small so maybe it doesn't deserve a name, any suggestions?

The name that we came up with for the trimate is CHECKEDOUT. Thats what I am to have a project this dam big.

supergenius .... how bout " little PLUMB CRAZY " .... not to be confused with totally $#@#$&$ NUTS ..... WE'RE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT !!!!!

I have always had a hard time naming my boats , but the recent one was easy . When I pulled into the dealers lot I first saw the baja outlaw 20 that I was first interested in . I drove further in and one boat just stuck out . It was an all red w/ checkered graphics , convincor 240 . It had more attractive qualities than that baja would ever have even with a full Hollywood makeover . I signed the papers a few weeks later and knew that the name of the boat would have to be " Lady In Red " . In a couple of weeks I will be pickiong her up and measure for the name and graphics . I plan on putting a picture of Betty Boop next to the name . If any one has suggestions where I might be able to find the grafixs please let me know . I have looked at myboatsign.com and boatgraphics.com but cannot seem to locate a good graphic of Betty Boop ( trust me this will look good ) . Any information will be helpfull .

Thanks 175 . Much apriciated. I have a few things in mind , just want to make sure it looks right before I spend the money for the name and graphics and apply it to the boat . I must have been through 10 - 15 different font styles so far , but hey , I dont want to mess up a good looking boat

I would recommend Ewing Lettering & Graphics, They are located in Farmington N.Y. Just off the NYS thruway just outside of Rochester. They do great work, Big and small. They lettered my J-Craft called "Blade Runner" and my Magnum called "ENFORCER". I also had a Thompson Sidewinder we used as a dive boat we named "Scooby Doo" (had a little graphic of scooby on the engine)Tom Ewing did them all for me.

conv240, if you would rather have paint instead of "stick-on", let me know your e-mail address through a private e-mail on this site. I know a guy that will blow your mind when it comes to little stuff like you are looking for. I even have some pics of some of his work on my hard drive. If you like 'em, let me know and I will give you the numbers to contact. I am telling you, this guy is f@&*ing AWESOME!!

hmmm "lil' Plumb Crazy" good suggestion, I have thought about "Purple Haze" but I have seen that used before and also "cheap trick" becaue I don't have alot of money in the boat.
