which hull for my new boat????

ok, going 21 foot. starflight, pulse, or pulsar. are they all the same? what are the differences between them? will one handle bigger chop than the other? i need some help deciding...... thanks, curt

Check out the Gallery for more info on each model. The Pulsare replaced the Starflite in early 90's. Similar weight but the Pulsare has a pad bottom and is considered the faster boat. Also more rounded lines. The Pulse is heavier and deeper and although it still has a pad is probably the better big water hull.

Starflites have a shallow vee hull and small step, fast hull, great top end numbers but they don't handle the rough stuff as well as the Pulsare. The Pulsare is a pad bottom hull with a deeper Vee and taller freeboard. Most Pulsare 2100 run low to mid 70's with stock 225 hp motors. There are guys running 300x's on the Pulsares into the 90's!! The Puslares also have a usable playpen/cabin that can sleep two people for an overnighter..or afternoon delight!! ;)

i am married, so afternoon delights ended a long time ago. all though, the afternoon naggings have pick up nicely. lmao

Haha, you guys crack me up!

...and because I'm a spelling Nazi: Starflight = Starflite and Pulsar = Pulsare ;)

I beg to differ...as long as the kids aren't on board the play pen gets used, married for 13 years and the 18 year relationship is still going strong.

well you are lucky, been togother 5 and married 2 and nothing......maybe thats why i have so many fast toys?!??!?

i am a dealer and my opinion is the 21 pulsare is definiatly the meanest checkmate outboard out there. i mean you can buy a new one with a brand new 300 on it and run 90 out of the box not broke in. it also has some very destinct lines in the mold of the hull. it is my fav. of outbourd of that line up.
