Wickedrister's winter project

thanks man.

do you have any props in mind? i would concentrate on getting the basics first. you can always add th hot foot at any time. the solid mounts wouldnt be needed right away.

get the steering set up and run it a bit before you drop any more extras on it. i like to make sure it runs well in the water.

Ill, Derrick's Enticer is running a 13-3/4 X 23 lazer II on the same basic set up. He is happy with his so far so that's good starting point. My boss thinks a 14 X 22 4 blade is what i need to try? I need to look up Boatman for his suggestions. Only testihg will tell

Hi wick
The Laser 2 is a very good prop for your combo,
but take the time and test the 23 Tempest.

I run a 22 pitch laserII and the rpm are to high for the 115, over 6,000. The 26 chopper runs a bit low at 5,400. 23 or 24 would be ideal.

Thanks for all the help. I went with the 13.75 X 23 Laser II. Had no luck finding one used or a domo so I ordered a new one. I got it from http://www.bogerprops.com. He had one that was special ordered last year. The customer made a down payment on it but never came back to pick it or called to check on it. I think I got a good deal for a brand new one.

I started working on the boat wednsday and wow what a mess. I think all new wires and gauges is the way to go, what the heck

Yep, all new it's going to be. No turning back now. I removed every inch of wire, all the gauges and all the steering parts today. Ready to lift off the 90 inline and start on the 135 install

How do ya like the fishing rod holder I made into a cable guide. I had to find a way to route them and that is what I came up with.
