Windshield Number Need Help

I need the number that's on the windshield passenger side down at the bottom. It should be on a white sticker. My sticker is gone. It's a Taylor Made on a 92 Pulse 185. I need the number so Taylor Made can match me up for the rubber gaskets that are inside the frames. I talked to Mike at Checkmate today before I talked to Taylor Made Industries or he could helped me for sure. There real busy there and if any of you guy's could help I wouldn't have to bother him. By the way, Mike's sending me some New Checkmate decals for the side. Cool Guy.

are you talking the screw covering?
No Chris E it's the rubber gaskets that hold the glass. There's 2 different sizes of it. The vertical & the horizontal. Screw came loose and the gasket got out of place & it got mashed all out of shape.:yell:

i used to have to deal with taylor through sea ray - never had a good experiance with them. anyway, we always used the make model, year and serial number of the boat in question and tayler was able to determine which part was which. sometimes taylor etches something into the glass but i'm doubtfull that will help. you will need to find someone at taylor that isn't suffering from an anal-cranial inversion before you get the help you need.

Lordy, If that's what she was suffering from I'm glad it was a phone conversation! She said it wasn't in the glass though. Maybe one of these Pulse riders will hit me with a number. And then I'll hope Taylor can help.

taylor should be able to determine what windshield you have from the hull number, i know, because i used to work for them. id suggest calling several times. it sounds like you're talking to a customer service rep, and they know nothing. get them to ask an engineer, or someone who can do some leg work to find ut for you.

Thanks for the reponse Wonderllama. After Chris E filled me in on his experience with Taylor Made I started googling.

I found the part numbers at Taylor Made Windshield Parts.
There was some good drawings of the different gaskets with part #'s.

I then called, they said they were good numbers. I've received the gaskets & they were correct.

Thanks again to you & Chris E :thumb:

glad to help, sounds like you had pretty good luck with them. one of my incidents with taylor, ended up with the vice president of purchasing at sea ray yelling at taylors people to get the part i needed shipped - that was a fun conferance call!!!!!!!!!!

Oh they didn't have it in stock. I don't know who they got it from? I just received the stuff today.
