Winter plans 2010/2011

Not trying to steal the thread or anything, but if anyone is interested, I have a bunch of r/c boat stuff that I want to sell. Include is a new 41" Falcon cat! boatman

go whatever size you think you need and add 10 feet no matter how big you build em they always fill up i have a trailer tongue sticking out of a garage door right now my bays are 36 ft deep never thought that would be a problem

True true. I only have 30' to work with depth-wise, so i figure i have either put a larger boat in on an angle and/or have a break-away tounge on the trailer. I'm also considering putting a 12' garage door on the side towards the back so i can put a larger boat in length-wise.

Yeah I have a 51" Rio by Aquacraft. It'll run in the 40's with a stock 29cc. I think its gonna be for sale as well, since I now have a big boat to play with!! :)

Your right add 10, it takes a bit over 34 feet to stick a 300 Convincor in on the trailer.

I wish i had the room, although i'm not adverse to cutting a few trees down and going really big. I'll likely just put that side door in and back the rig in length-wise... just in case checkmate makes a 30' open bow boat :thumb:

Well, my little bit of glass work is turning into somthing bigger. No rot or anything, thank god. Its still getting hyd steering at a minimum- probably bigger tabs too since everything is coming apart. I can start another thread to explain what is going on... don't want to mess up this one with the details.

I know more guys have some winter plans..

BASMITH63

:brickwall:going to change exhaust to dry pipes and upgrade to external steering ,just pulled the 454/385 out and put in 555 chevy that is very mild so hopefully it runs well..

So as I winterize my boat and tuck it into the garage for the winter, I am thinking about what I would like to change/upgrade for the next season. This year I added a 6 inch CMC power lift jack plate, a new stereo system, and a bunch of LED lights on the trailer.

What do you have planned for next season???

Well i just finished my floor b4 the winter so i will run the boat on my lake till i see ice. Dec 12 was my last day out last year.

Over the winter i will be savin to swap from carb to fuel injection on my 383 strocker with B&M blower. I can get it done and tuned for under $1500 from the guy who built my motor. Due to my old holley 750double. I will probably gain power. LOL. But i will see a safer tune and better running. Im not dynod but the base motor is about 450-475hp and then the blower at 7psi. We will see.
