Wisconsin Customer Takes Delivery of First Checkmate Under New Owner

Scott Allen (left) stands alongside Austin Tinus, sales manager of Tinus Marine in Wisconsin, after taking delivery of his new Checkmate Pulsare 2000 BRX recently.
The first model to come out of the Checkmate Powerboats facility since the Bucyrus, Ohio, company was purchased by Global Marine Power this summer was delivered to Wisconsin boater Scott Allen last weekend.
Allen's 2014 Checkmate Pulsare 2000 BRX was ordered by Tinus Marine, the Checkmate dealer located in the Milwaukee suburb of Oconomowoc. The 20-foot sportboat features a 250-horsepower Mercury OptiMax Pro XS outboard and a striking blue graphics package. Along with twin bucket seats and a rear bench in the cockpit, the boat includes a pair of lounges up ahead in the open bow.
While there aren't any obvious changes in the 20-footer and other models coming down the Checkmate production line, Global Marine Power—the parent company of Hustler Powerboats in Calverton, N.Y.—has provided quite a bit of production and work-flow input over the past few months. And by bringing all of the purchasing, billing and other office work into the fold at the Hustler facility, costs are already being managed more efficiently.
The next boat expected to be delivered from Checkmate is a 250 SFX center console model with a single Mercury Verado 300 outboard engine. Always Sammie Action Marine

Since I can't get yuengling I drink Stella. That blue looks pretty sharp...Way better than the Mustang Boss Blue...in fact, reminds me of my Starliner. Just saying.
