A little off topic but ... how is that cover working out ... looks to fit quite nicely. I'm looking for something similar which will keep the summer weather out ... the odd rain shower etc etc. Maybe you could tell me what name brand etc.........

Boat looks terrific as well ....

Thanks

Bruce

The cover is sunbrella material it works great. I was originally going to add snaps but I never leave her in the water anyway.I have a girl in N/E Pa who can do the same job -- she is good, she measureas and all to custimize each boat.

I have had the same problem posting higher priced boats also so I know how you feel. If your not giving it away you get ripped on. Did you have a clip on you tube of this boat with the engine running? I had a customer send me a link to it asking how much. I told him new it was mid 40s easy depending on what he wanted. If you e-mail me I will give you his address since I haven't heard back from him.

Thanks guy
People who rip do not bother me -- it is an open site pople can say what they want - You know what you have as I do and because you are a dealer this puts you more into the know of the actual cost of building these boats. I was going to shoot video this weekend but our weather in the Northeast has been horrible to say the least. I will give it a shot next weekend for sure.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL FOR YOUR KIND WORDS. More then myself C/M deserves the Kudo's for bringing a great product to market now if we can get them to do the finising touches on the wiring -- guages we will really have something here. These Long decks are eye candy to say the least -- I love the boat!!! I will buy another hands down, God willing.:bigthumb:

Hey Check This,

Just some added info, I ordered my boat with the "Eddie Marine Elite" gauges and thus far I have had good luck....and their customer service is second to none! That means a lot these days. They don't look as good as the Livorsi (is that what you have?) but the wiring is simple and it comes with connectors from Eddie Marine (special ones), so Checkmate can't use any junk.

Good luck.

Check that
H/D I order everthing from Eddie's Marine I put smartcraft guages in. My friend Chris put Livorsi in his Skater they are a great company also that stand by what they sell. I hope checkmate upgrades under the dash. I will tell you it is the easiest boat to work on.:bigthumb:

This boat was a brand new leftover when Anthony got it a couple months ago. There was never a mark on it. Some of us that "beach" our boats, only do it on sand and walk them in and "LIFT" the nose onto the sand. I never drive it up on the beach. As long as there's no waves, it won't make a mark. Here's the video of me driving it at 90.

I am also very particular with my boats and in my opinion it is not a big deal to pull your boat up on sand. I tie to a screw-in anchor and keep the boat out far enough so it doesn’t have too much weight on the sand. If you do it all summer, which I do, all you need to do is buff/polish the keel or portion of boat that gets a little dull at the end of the season if you want that new shiny look back. Takes about a half hour and it will be as good as new. I usually just run 800 grit sandpaper from the bottom of the keel to the back of the boat, about 10”-12” each side of center. A lot of the outboard guys, which I use to be one, do this anyway as they feel it is a little faster. Checkmate has a thick layer of gel and you can do it for years and still not wear through the gel.
