CHECKMATE OWNER'S RALLY 2010

Barry and I were talking last weekend and we are kicking around the ideal of having t-shirts made up. It would have the horse head on the breast and the back will have the image from the flier on it. The more shirts the cheaper they are to have made. I think last time I had them made, they were about $20 each on a very nice, thick t-shirt.

Any interest?? I need to know because if there is some I will be able to get prices by next week.
I will need to know size's and quantity
Thanks,

How about this for the front of the shirt :bounce:

Hello All !!!

Just wanted to say I will be the owner of a new 2011 1850BR soon. Not sure if it will be ready for the owners rally due to the leadtime from Merc on my motor. But I would still like to join all of you and welcome y'all to lake cumberland. I live in Somerset so I'm not too far from Conley bottom.
I am looking forward to joining the Checkmate family and meeting all of you. :bounce:

Too bad the campground doesn't take reservations

It looks like I will be able to come down Wed or Thur, I need to verify with my boss (at work), the boss at home is OK with this trip..

I'd hate to drive 400 miles to Connely Bottom and not be able to get a camp spot. I have a slide in camper for on the truck, that way I can still pull the boat. All I need is a 110 volt plug in for a small refridgerator, no air or anything fancy with this camper.

I do not think you will have any problem getting a site at Conley Bottom. I have a view of the campsite from my boat and it has been looking pretty dead most weekends. :thumb:

Conley Bottom told me that campsites shouldn't be problem after July 4.We even checked to make sure we were the only event that week end. Also a note on trip planning,if you done mapquest for directions to CB it might not show a new road that has just opened.Look for (i believe it is 1247) signs off of the 914 by-pass to hwy90 and Conley Bottom. This will save you a lot of traffic and lights.

I believe you are correct. The new highway is nice and saves going through the southern business section of Somerset. The intersection at 914 is right at 84 Lumber. I tell people to look for the 84 Lumber signs. Also, this highway turns into hwy 90 and you won't even know it.

It is official - We will be there!

Now I am getting excited. If only I had a speed prop now...hehehe. My wife says it is too fast now with the ski prop (23 Tempest Plus). It does have a good hole shot, by our standards anyhoo.

Thanks for the info on the new road, it has been several years since we were down that way.

Let me know if I need to bring anything extra for anybody.

Look forward to seeing you there. Hopefully Mercury can get the motor built sooner than later.

Should have the motor dropped into the green boat this week :bounce:

As for shirts, I have really had no responces to them other than 4 people so I guess we will scratch the shirt ideal:o

Brian, I'd be interestead in a couple of em... I've been outta it lately and forgot all about em. If you do end up making them, I need two mediums

if not no, big deal... got me a couple of superboat shirts I can wear.:poke:

j/k... I have a couple of Checkmate shirts that I'll be sure to be wearing.:bigthumb:

I cant make the Rally, but I wouldn't mind having a shirt. That is if you guys don't mind me bein a big poser for missin the rally and wearing the t shirt anyway.

I'll have extra room in my boat

Look forward to seeing you there. Hopefully Mercury can get the motor built sooner than later.

If you need a ride, I have room. It will just be my wife and me. The old Trimate III has a lot more room than some of the new boats.

i just got back from lc,while i was there i met a guy that might be able to hook us up with a helicopter.when we go to the dam we could get some great pics.i still have to make some calls, but i will see what i can do!
