    Best product for cleaning seats???

    I agree with lcboater, Westleys bleach white worked very well. I think this stuff is for cleaning white wall tires! We have a 26' Pursuader with original interior. After bleaning with bleach white, it looked like new. Watch the over spray.:thumb:

    Timing Advance for 454 Magnum Motor

    Mercruiser says initial timing set @ 8 degrees before TDC. What is the ultimate advance setting using the Thunderbolt IV ignition for the best performance? Anyone Know? We are headed for the Boyne Thunder Poker Run on Friday. I'll bet Jamie from Lakeside would know.:drool:

    Winter in northern michigan sucks for boaters Here we are on December 23rd, The National Weather Service is calling for a winter storm for 6"+ more of the white stuff. I've had it! Winter is just starting. I can't wait until the first warm day of spring to get out my 26' Pursuader and start it...

    Hey Navy- The engine has 260 hours on it and it's tight. A blower doesn't sound too bad. What kind of HP gain could I expect? I bet it would leap out of the hole!:eyecrazy:

    Help- Looking for someone to tell me what prop came with a 1996 26' Checkmate Persuader with a 454 Magnum stock motor and Bravo 1 drive. The boat is a slug coming out of the hole. Trim is all the way down. Top end is 58-60 MPH @ 4400 RPM's. I am currently running a Mirage Plus 14.625 X 23...

    To restore...or not to restore...

    Restore From what I'm told...you still wet-sand to smooth the hull out. Then, the clear is applied. It you don't, the finish will look like the rockies. The finish on this boat doesn't appear to be in a "apply clear coat state":shakehead:

    To restore...or not to restore...

    Restore..... Do not paint or alter the original gelcoat!!!!!!! Purchase 1000 and 1500 wet or dry sand paper. Purchase a rubber sanding block. Cut the 1000 grit paper to fit in the sanding block and begin to wet-sand the hull keeping the paper very wet. Do not miss any areas. You will not hurt...
