    1988 ambassador

    I have a 1884 Ambassador and love it. it has the same set up as yours and still runs like a dream. it is a good sized boat and great for the family and a few friends. pulls great and has pulled as many as 3 skiers. It throws a mean wake for a wake board if you are so inclined. mine runs...

    Checkmate for sale near Gainesville, GA

    I saw it on the side of the road but I didn't get a chance to look at it closely. It looked like an OB Enticer with a Johnson on it. They had a sign for $1000 so not sure what the interior looked like. If any one is interested I can get a friend of mine to take a look. Thanks

    source for replacement latches for engine cover?

    I am looking for replacement latches that will stay down flat so my kids can walk safely on the engine cover area without stubbing toe on the latch that keeps popping up. Anyone know of a source?

    February 2006's boat of the month vote!

    I agree that we should consider the Quality of the photography and not just the boat. I like the fog shot too, but if we weren't Check fans we wouldn't know it was a mate. I wish action pictures were easier to get! anybody have use of a helicopter?
