I still have good water pressure and the rooster tail is still not big at all (nothing compared to what I see behnd some bass boats).     Amsoil Oils?

    Yes I have. I run AMSOIL in all my engines, which includes 3 sleds, and a 150 HP Evinrude EFI. Run their HP injector oil in your outboard. Check their website for additional/application information.

    Gear Lube

    I also run Amsoil products, and have never had a problem. I run their lower unit lube, and their HP injector oil for my 150 Evinrude. I run the same HP and their chain case oil in three of our family 2 stroke sleds that get pounded, no problems.

    I installed my pressure gauge already. Now, my engine is set at the lowest of the four holes, so I think it's dragging the gearcase a lot. Is CMC a good choice?

    I am getting ready to order a jack plate, and Kunkle's is going to do the install job when they get some free time. They stated a CMC manual is good, any other thoughts on brands or hydro/manual. Also running a 150 Eninrude FICHT, and wondering if I can expect at least 6-8 mph more.

    Also I forgot to mention, I am currently running an OMC SST stainless, and getting 52mph gps, with me and my 9 year old on board, 3/4 tank of fuel. Engine runs great, I expected a little more mph.
