1975 Vmate restoration

I had a very productive weekend . I got the power trim all hooked up and working ... Painted the shift box . installed new throttle and shift cables and ordered the merControl decals for the shift box . Now I just need to find some bolts to mount the control box up ... I planned on firing it up today but my dad wanted to be here and its 10:30 pm and they still are not back from our lake house . So maybe tomorrow before I leave for work .....

Not even 3 rotations of the crank and she was running . Was nice to finally here the old girl back up and running ....

Hey Will, I think you need to go into YouTube and change your setting for this video to public, -- right now it's set for private.

That sounds sweet. It must really sound sweet to you after all your efforts. I hope mine will fire up that easily. Your in the home stretch Will. Very good work. :bigthumb:

Its after 1 am and Im just getting home from work . We are supposed to take the boat up to the lake house today and see how she does. I hope we do . I have been waiting long enough ....

so far the boat is running great . Ran about 10 gallons of fuel through it yesterday. Getting ready to take it back out here in a few minutes. I have pictures and a few videos but will post those when I get home tonight . Internet connection up here really sucks and take to long to upload anything .....
