21 Pulsare BR with 30xs in Germany....

Hello,
I'm Stephan from Germany, and I have since 2 years a 21" BR Pulsare. At first I had an 225er Optimax at the boat, because is it not possible to get the XS in Germany.
Now 2 months ago I flight to Florida to Randy (Wildman). He has advised me great and I take from him a Optimax 300xs with a 4.25" Stainless Marine hydraulic jack plate and a 12" custom-made-bracket by Randy.
The engine came 3 weeks ago and it does everything great.
Thanks Randy!

The boat runs on time with a 25 "Trophy 80mph at 6400 rpm.
Unfortunately I do not have a larger propeller. :yell:
Just I bought me a 27 "Trophy, and it's on the way.

Has anyone tips or suggestions? Here in Germany, I am the only one with pulsars and 300xs.

How can I send pictures in this thread?!

Checki, that is a cool video, boat and scenery! Good luck w/ the boat. There probably are not a lot of performance boats in your area?

Stephan, it was good meeting you guys! You need to set the motor up so that it will be at least 1" above the bottom with the hydraulic plate all the way up. That motor has a 1.75 gear, so you are on the limiter now. You'll need a 28-29" prop to see 90 mph. What elevation are you guys running at? Here's a video of a 21 Checkmate with a 300XS at 90.

You'll have a lot of interested people checking out that boat.

Do you have a pic of your bow cover ? Is it flush fitting ? Mine has the O'l teepee pole in the middle. Does your cover get sucked down on speed runs ? What type lower unit do you have ? Sportmaster or Torque Master ? If you do have 1.75 gears you'll be looking for something in the 28-30 pitch for a prop. The smaller props will be fun for crazy holeshots(lowend)

Guten Tag, vie geht es dir!? Beautiful boat, great video! Only suggestions I have are take Randys advice to speed things up and i'd change the music in your video to my favorite German band, Rammstein... once you get over 90mph that is :thumb:

Yes! Rammstein would be better for the video, but I didn't make this video. :poke:

Last weekend I test a 28 Trophy and I drove 83.5 mph (134 km/h) GPS. More was not possible, cause the waves were too high. And I have to learn to drive this boat! :bounce:

My Setback over all is 16,25 inch and is not so good at high waves. Do you think it's better to change it in 13 inch over all?!

Hy Hotbeek, I have the original Bowcover. I have also built a central rod and an additional 3 battens sewn.

Picture, I'd like to send, I do not know how to do it. :brickwall:

I drive a sportsmaster with 1.75

there were a couple of moments right near the end of that video where i thought you were going to get wet.... how was the pucker factor then?

Great video! Holy chinewalk at the end though. My wife would go nuts, worse than she did when I hit a wake a couple weeks ago and launched into the air it a few times.
